I'm looking at the Sonos modded by Underwood Hifi: http://www.underwoodhifi.com/mod_sonos.html

Or, the Duet modded by Bolder (Digital Mod Only)

The Duet is 50% cheaper after all the mods, but would it sound as good as the modded Sonos? It sounds like Underwood completely replaces the stock circuit board and corrects jitter issues. Does the Duet have much problem with jitter?

Can someone informed give me a hand? What about the two remotes? Any advice?

They claim a respectably low 50ps for the stock unit.

I think I'm going to go with the Duet. The price/performance differences are just undeniable.

The Sonos needs a hard wire to my router which sucks and would be too much of a pain in my system.

The handheld remote is horizontal and costs as much as a the base station or a whole duet system.

    I'm buy the Duet.

Thanks, I'm glad to know the jitter is low.
