Pet Peeve - Cardboard CD cases

I just received some MFSL gold CDs I had ordered and was disappointed that they all came in cardboard cases. I understand the green behind cardboard, but I have noticed that all my CDs with the cardboard sleeve for the CD are very scratched. Just in case the CD manufacturers aren't aware, cardboard is wood, wood is abrasive, it scratches. It would be nice if we could get some type of coating on the cardbord so that we can be green and not damage our CDs. Just a thought

The cardboard CD cases I have have a plastic inside where the CD sits. Though I don't own a lot of CDs, most of my music is on my laptop anyway and I use my iPod in my car.
