Not much to brag about compared to some of the other stuff Ive seen some of you have but it sounds good and I recently found out one of my cousins does wood working (builds cabinets, furniture, etc) for a living and is going to build me a custom entertainment center for my gear when he has some spare time to do it.And thanks to this forum it will only get better sounding as time goes on.Crossover recap begins next week...

I'll probably will need help in recapping my Crossover or at least where to buy the parts. I thought I saw a thread on that I'll have to go check and look for that thread in Crossover Rebuilding . I think that might be my problem with the right speaker.

Replace the towel with a curtain, clean the joint up, and do some cable management, it'll look pretty good.

    The white face gear is...interesting.

I agree, no real offense intended, but if I take picture of my stuff and put it out there for a hundred million people to view on a web site, I pick up the plastic grocery sacks and try to hide a cable or two. I might even put up a clean towel or something. With that said, nice gear.

Nothing “poor” about that system. In fact for the money invested I don’t think you could put anything better together period. All of that gear is great value and would costs you thousands to improve upon it if you were buying new. Congrat’s on a nice setup.

My only caution if you are going to have a custom cabinet built is to ensure you give those amps plenty of airflow – they run hot and really need to breathe. As you know nothing kills components faster than heat build up and bad ventilation.

I am going to improve one thing in a few months.>A dedicated transport.Ill be watching audiogoN everyday for a silver Theta data basic II. I did get a good deal on those monos back in 92.Both for 1,000.00 even.New. Now im just trying to get up enough courage to replace the opamps in my DAC to OPA2134s or 2227s.I have 2 of each with adapters to easily swap em out so I can compare different versions. New pics soon. All cleaned up and moved for better accustics.

Theta makes nice stuff. I have a Theta DAC on order; should hopefully arrive next week at some point.

Nice score on the amps those are sweet and hard to find in white. !

Sweet setup. Absolutely nothing poor about that setup. Now if you had some RCA speakers, 28 gauge wire and a combo record player/am & fm tuner with 8 track, you would be talking poor.

I love how music can brighten up a bad day.
