In my travels today, skinny towers about the size of RTA 8. Marketed under the name Cat, with a cougar or jaguar as part of the metal emblem on the front. Total failure on the knuckle test. Three **** drivers on the front baffle and maybe an 8" but more than likely a 6" side-firing job too. Nothing but German writing on the back. Coming soon to a parking lot near you.

When you rap on the cabinets and your knuckles go through cause they're made out of glorified balsa. You get that ringing sound that shouts "No bracing whatsoever!"

I've never had the pleasure of being white-vanned. I'm in too rural of an area... The Amish would make GOOD cabinets, just with no electronics in them :p

Some day, I hope to run into a white van group and see if I can get them to prove how stupid they are, without them realising it :). While the girlfriend sits in the car and calmly calls the cops...
    Ludicrous gibs!

The Amish would dovetail-joint 3/4" MDF. That's a scary thought, but then they'd fix it up pretty with knotty pine veneer. Or cherry. Or chestnut. Or walnut.

Where are you from in PA? I've almost run over my fair share of buggies around the state.

I've been white vanned once when I was younger. They insulted my gear, and I laughed at theirs.

    I guess we were even.
My equipment sig felt inadequate and deleted itself.

Nothing says good deal like a couple of tattooed ex-cons
cruising around in a white van trying to sell "extra" speakers.
You know all quality speakers have the list price on the box
    in big letters.
