hi, i own a pair of polk audio Monitor Series 2 speakers(M 5 jr+). After many years of faithfull service, the woofer in one of the speakers has given up. Question: can i replace the current part (MW6502) with a MW6503? if i can, i intend to replace the woofers in both speakers. Does anyone have any 6502's they want to get rid of? (i reside in Australia). I love the sound of these speakers, so i really weant to repair/reinstate them. thanks.

    Welcome to club Polk.
The 6502 is a 4 ohm driver, and the 6503 is an 8 ohm driver. These are not interchangeable. Did you contact Polk about a 6502? Mention you are a club Polk member to get a discount;)

Please. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. If you need help let these guys know. There are many people who will help if you let them know where you are.
    Thanks

I saw one of those on ebay a few days ago. I'm thinking 6502. I got a pair of 6510's.:D

I will not mention the bonehead thing I did that necessitated getting 1, except on a bonehead scale of 10 it was a 9.

    Heck, here's a bunch.
