Hello all. This is my first post here. Upfront i would like to thank all the people who contribute to the club polk forum. It really is a great way to get specific answers to specific questions.
The reason i am posting is i would like several suggestions for REAR SURROUND SOUND speakers (polk audio brand only).
I will upload pics of my HT system as soon as i figure out how to do so.Yeah, I'm a noob.

You will want to get a speaker that has the SL2000 if you want to match your RTA11ts. Good options would be Monitor 5Jr, Monitor 5, Monitor 7 (although a little bigger), SDA CRS, or RTA8 if you want some small floorstands.

Most, including myself think the CSi5 or CSiA6 are a good center match for the vintage Polks.I like speakers that are bigger than a small refrigerator but smaller than a big refrigerator:D

Hi club polk members. as a follow on to my original question's about the Vintage RTA 11t speakers....Uhmm-i found very little information about actually testing my specific model. Purchased these in the phillipines while in the military in 1990... so they endured constant humidity for the first 4 years of life, and quite alot of usage at loud volumes. Visually inspected them for damage top to bottom and they seem to be in great shape. Not a nick or chip on them pretty much.As far as how they sound? Well to me they sound great and i have had many guests say my Sx sounds way better than any movie theater they have been in....until recently.... a good friend of mine seems to hear a problem with the "range of my tweeters"....I know absolutly nothing about A/V or how to test it. How can i be sure my old school RTA11t speakers are still performing well. There seems to be little reference material or even peoples opinions on this model. Am i missing something when i search the site? Also - i trust my buddies opionion since this is what he does for a living at mgm. When i asked him if i should just kss and get new tweeters his response was "check there website" Any help would be really appreciated..thanksMY HT EQUIPMENT: Pioneer Kuro PDP-5080hd

you could call Polk & get some new tweets -- just tell um what speakers you have & they will help you
I think they give forum members a little discount also
