I'm a bit excited my new cd player for my jeep gets here today. Time to retire the Alpine it has been a good deck and i will be sad to see it sitting on the shelf it has delivered so much over the past few years. But.....
the kenwood KDC-X991 just has so much more to offer with newer technology better pre out voltage and processing. it will take a bit to get used to and give me days of tweaking :D

my friend has one and i played with it a little so i have a little experience with it and for the price (new) $382.67 shipped

I have several Kenwood car components; they have NEVER let me down. Bulletproof amps.

I have some Kenwood stuff from around 2000 and wouldn't trade it for current stuff. It works well and is decently simple to use; I don't want anything else. Nice looking deck and good luck playing around with it.

Not some of last years model amps. Absolute garbage.
