How to set up speakers

I have a pair or Polk RTi4's along with a pair Polk R50's and a PSW250 subwoofer. Should I use the RTi4's on stands as my main speakers because of their superior imaging and place the R50's as surrounds, or vice versa?

    Could go either way

    Experiment and see how each setup sounds in your listening area
    Receiver: harmankardon AVR235
    Mains: polk R30
    Center: polk CSi3
    Rear Surrounds: polk R20
    Subwoofer: polk PSW404
    DVD: Panasonic DVD-S29
