Well I finally registered. I've been watchin' for a couple years.;)

Been a Polk owner from when i bought my new M-7 series 2 from Audio King.

(which I still own)

Now I also have a pair of 8T's.

A pair or RTA-12b's.

Pair of RTA-12c's

Oh, and a pair I believe are RTA-12a's.

Welcome to Club Polk collector of RTA-12's
    Ben
Please. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. If you need help let these guys know. There are many people who will help if you let them know where you are.
    Thanks

    Welcome to CP.

    REGARDS SNOW
Well, I just pulled off the impossible by doing a double-blind comparison all by myself, purely by virtue of the fact that I completely and stupidly forgot what I did last. I guess that getting old does have its advantages after all :D

    Welcome to Club Polk......

Sounds like you really like the vintage lines. Have you done any or thought about doing any mods to them? (caps, tweeters, etc.) Quite the collection you have going there - have you heard SDA's yet? (never to early to start spending a new members money.... :p)

And yes to thinking of upgrades. But both the RTA 12a and 12b's have peerless tweets that will stay on them. The RTA12c's I'm either parting out or having to build or repair the cabinets along with a full upgrade.

The M-7's are fine and to be left alone.

The RTA 8's I think may need some thinking about.

Right now I'm running 12a's in front and 8's in the rear at home with a (can't remember) Polk center.

And 12b's at the cabin with a old Carver 6200.

What I really need is new power equipment cuz I hate this temp Yamaha I'm running at home. Thinking I'll go back to stereo, and forget all about surround. But who knows.

    Welcome.

Shortly after getting my 7B's I disconnected my HT receiver, got a proper preamp and removed the 5 'sperfluous' speakers in the room. They simply weren't necessary.
