Mostly country, new and old (meaning Lady Antebellum back to Hank & Waylon), classic rock, some more modern rock, some pop, of course ya gotta love the 'oldies', some gospel (though not often), trying to get into the blues and jazz (but not feeling it much), some easy listening, techno's pretty cool, and some Christian, as well as acappella.

I never had it like this where I grew up. But I send my kids here because the fact is you go to one of the best schools in the country: Rushmore. Now, for some of you it doesn't matter. You were born rich and you're going to stay rich. But here's my advice to the rest of you: Take dead aim on the rich boys. Get them in the crosshairs and take them down. Just remember, they can buy anything but they can't buy backbone. Don't let them forget it. Thank you.Herman Blume - Rushmore

I listen to about anything.....obviously classic rock, jazz and classical take up most of my shelf space.

Lots of REALLY good and well recorded country music coming out now....I'd have to say that's where it's at right now.

For those that don't like opera....grab a copy of Puccini's Turandot, specifically the Mehta/Pavarotti version. That will really blow your hair back....

I listen to almost anything. Have not really gotten into Opera nor Classical, but that is mainly due not been exposed to it.

Classic rock, Metal, light rock, Jazz, Country, mild RAP, Dance Techno, Progressive is all good with me. I seem to be into almost anything if it is a good transfer and well mastered.

Progressive rock and jazz are where I spend most of my time, but I like all types. I still like alot of the mainstream stuff that's already in my collection, but I don't much care for anything that's been on the radio in the past ten years or so, with the exception of maybe a couple bands.

I suppose I am partial to a good melody....

Basically, if it has a catchy melody, I really don't care what genre the music is in....even if it's country*, rap, or opera.

    * Quite sure I'm the only Asian guy around with a Toby Keith SACD :D

I see many share my likes!
My big thing the past several years is Syth/Sci-Fi and a lotta newage'ish stuff.
Just about anything on Hearts Of Space (HOS) recording label.
My collection sits at around 300...Classical....Big Band....Newage....Synth....Celtic....Classic Rock....Jazz and Progressive Jazz.
I own a fair amount of RARE CD's and many CD's I've had since they 1st came out.....still like new.
I haven't hit the SACD scene yet.....maybe when it's more wide spread and the players are more availible.
