Two b's or not two b's

I have become unsure whether I have Model 7s or 7b's. I don't have the hardware to post pictures, but here are a few facts:
I bought them new in March of '81.
The serial numbers are 7B 30388, 9.
The Instruction manual calls them "Model 7 Studio Monitor System"
The tweeters have a black faceplate and a black dome with a tiny hole in the middle. (Peerless?)
The tweeter leads are recessed into the faceplate and diverge at an angle of approximately 30 degrees below horizontal.
The midwoofers are 6.5" and have MW6500 markings on them inside the cabinet.
The midwoofer surrounds are rubber.
The passive radiators are 10" (full outside diameter) with rubber surrounds.
The logos are low and to the right on the grilles, not on the "wood" below the grilles.
The devices that hold the grilles on project from the cabinets into holes in the grilles and resemble the letter "T".
The faux wood looks pretty rich and is dark and reddish.
I suppose if they were built at about the time of the changeover, they could have a mix of features of the two models. My sister once bought a new Fiat from a dealer. It was titled as a '74 but as she owned it she found that if she bought parts for a '73, they would fit better.
Thanks in advance for your help.
Bruce

Vancouver, Canada Sept 30th, 2012 - Madonna concert  -
Bruce, the description of your speakers sounds exactly like the 7Bs I bought new in May of '82, that I asked about over on this thread:
http://www.polkaudio.com/forums/showthread.php?t=71447
My serial number starts with a "4", as I recall. (I'm not near the speakers at this moment.)
As you'll see in the other thread, Guptonr has the same components in his 7B crossovers as I do - I'm curious to know if yours are the same as ours. These crossovers don't match any of the schematics posted for the 7B on the board.
Do your 7Bs have fuses? -
My 7b's do have fuses.
