What do I have? What fuse value needed?

Hi folks,
First time poster, long time owner of what I've thought were called either "Model 5" or "Model 5A" bookshelf speakers. They look pretty similar to the Monitor 5 picture shown in the old products archive, but not the same. Mine have the faux walnut woodgrain sides/top instead of black. The dimensions are 21.75"H x 9"D x 10.5"W (depth measurement taken with grillcloth frame on). Serial Numbers are: 5 115182 and 5 115173 - serial #'s make me think they're Model 5's not 5a's . I'm pretty sure I've owned these since somewhere around 1978-1980, purchased new. Can anyone positively identify these? I can try to get a pic or two if anyone thinks its worthwhile.
The real reason for posting though is that I need to get a new fuse for one (lost, not blown) and can't read the other. These are the older ~1.25" glass tube fuses that used to be used in cars "back in the olden days" . What amperage is acceptable for these speakers? Anyone?
Thanks,
Geoff

Welcome Geoff; pictures will definitely help; maybe a Monitor 5?
Can't help you on the fuse rating, but someone will chime in._________________________________________________

IIRC,, they were 1 amp fast blo,,, bit I'm not 100% sure,, except for the "fast blo" part. Since the fuse is your tweeter protection,,the one amp fast blow will get you up and going,,I have a pair that I gave to my daughter,, I'll get her to look to be sure.Sweet little speaks aren't they,,good luck.JC approves....he told me so. Here's a pic of back/front (obviously). For some reason the direct picture posting didn't work, so here's a URL.

And George, yes, I love mine. Sadly its been much too long since I've used them, and I'm pulling them out of storage to bring back some REAL music.
Thanks all,
Geoff -
I know they are fast blow but I thought the value was more like .75 fast blow. It sounds like a first series monitor 5. Although I think they cam in a couple of colors like Oak and Walnut back then.

Yup; Monitor 5 (probably A's) with Peerless tweeters. They look great by the way._________________________________________________

My RTA 12Bs have peerless tweeters and use 0.75 amp quick blow fuses.

If it makes a difference, Bussman (Buss) quick-blow 1 1/4 X 1/8 glass fuses are identified with an "AGC" prefix ahead of the amperage rating.

Littelfuse quick-blow 1 1/4 X 1/8 glass fuses are identified with a "3AG" and/or "312" prefix ahead of the amperage rating.

(page 8)
Around here, there was no mention on the packaging whether the fuses were fast- or slow-acting--although in the last year or so, SOME of the Buss packages now specify.
