Rti4's or Monitor 30's
Looking for some opinions here, please.
I am looking for some moderately priced surrounds to go with my monitor 60's and cs1 center channel. The only ones available to me are the rti4's and Monitor 30's and both are priced about the same. I would have to wait to get the Monitor 30's but can get the rti4's immediately. Do you guys think this would be a bad choice, since matching isn'y so important for the surrounds?

The Monitor 30s match your system better although the RTi4 is the better speaker. I'd personally get the RTi4's, especially if you plan to upgrade in the future.KEF Q150 | Rythmik F12 | Yamaha Aventage RX-A780 -

AgreedPlease. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. If you need help let these guys know. There are many people who will help if you let them know where you are.
Thanks

So the Rti4's should be here tomorrow, however my new wife's dad shows up tonight and gives me a mint condition pair of 1984 Monitor 7's he bought years ago.
They make my monitor 60's sound like crap (when the subs off). Now I don't know what to do with them, but what great speakers. They sound great for stereo especially when I turn them on with the monitor 60's and the sub. So many speakers and don't know what to do with them all.
