i have a pair of fx300i's and a cs245i. i'd like to hear what people think of them so i can decide if i want to keep them and build a home theater setup or unload them. i haven't done any home theater stuff so i'm kinda in the dark here on these. thanks in advance.

Welcome. The best thing to do would be to listen to them & decide if whether or not you like them. The only thing that is reallly important is what your ears like.

Just use your SDA 2b's in the front and you are set. I am using SDA 2b's as my front speakers in a HT setup along with a cs400i as the center and Monitor 7b's as the rears. Set yours up and give it a listen.

I'd set them up and decide. If you don't like them upgrade.

They are nice speakers and good ones are getting harder to find. I currently have the FX300i as my rear surrounds. They are not going anywhere soon. I had the CS245i and liked it as well. I sold it and bought it's big brother the CS400i which is a better center IMO (at least for my application with RT55i main speakers). If you are using RT25i or RT35i pairs as your mains (or something similar), the CS245i is a very good match. Lots of folks have used the CS245i as the center back surround speaker in a 6.1 setup when using the CS400i as the center channel with good results.
