I don't mind car speakers for casual listening, but when I really want to do some critical listening I prefer floor speakers:)Things work out best for those who make the best of the way things work out.-John Wooden

It depends on the application.
If you're intending to your the floor speakers in the car, you will hard a hard time getting them to fit properly. This could present a problem for getting good imaging, for example.KEF Q150 | Rythmik F12 | Yamaha Aventage RX-A780 -

Just having a good time I can't give an honest comment becuase the 3 out of the 4 speaker in my car are blown, and the one that does work is a piece of junk anyway. I"ve never heard a good car systemKEF Q150 | Rythmik F12 | Yamaha Aventage RX-A780

I have, and it's nothing compared to a good "floor" system. -

nothing beats a good kraco modified for home use with a good pair of stock chevette speakers:).

Those car speakers will sound a lot better if you mount them in an old shoe box and stuff the box with newspaper.
