Just joined here and thought I'd say hello! :)

My equipment is in my sig.
Been a fan of Polk for quite a few years.
Recently parted with my beloved Monitor 10's cuz we moved to our 1st home from a rented house.
New living room didn't have the space for them. (10.5 W x14 L) :(

Equipment I have had in the past.....
Started with high end Technics about 1987...Tried Sony and had JVC.
Just got my Yamaha last week and I'm sold with them!!
Hey for $90 NOS BNIB how could I pass it up?

http://www.yamaha.com/yec/products/productdetail.html?CNTID=200508

My musical likes are VAST!
Classical...Progressive Jazz...Ambient...New Age...Classic Rock.
Absolutely no RAP or Country of any kind!!
Cd collection of about 250-300 I started from day one.

I'm also a Advanced Amateur Photographer for 20+yrs.

So that's just a lil about myself.....look forward to making some friends and maybe scoring some Equipment or CD's.

    Welcome Motzart.

    REGARDS SNOW
Well, I just pulled off the impossible by doing a double-blind comparison all by myself, purely by virtue of the fact that I completely and stupidly forgot what I did last. I guess that getting old does have its advantages after all :D

welcome aboard but. that system will start you off quite nicely into this hobby (or as we call it, lunacy)

hang out, learn what people like and dont like, and use the knowlege down the road when you decide to upgrade (believe me, if your here, on an audio chat board, your destined to dump some money in this hobby over the long term......the sooner you come to acceptance, the better you will feel about it :D )

this sight, and the people that contribute, caused to spend alot.......yet they saved me alot. if you dont get that dont worry.......you will
