Hello
Is a sub needed when using lsi25? If a sub is needed which is better a psw1000 or dsw600?
Thanks

It depends how big your room is, music taste, etc. Listen to them...if you like the way they sound, get them. Break them in slowly, and if you're still not happy with the bass response, etc, you can always add a sub or two.
Room dynamics have a big play in a speaker like this.Living Room:....................

Zone 2 (Workout Room):
AVR - Yamaha RX-V757......JBL 4312 Pro Monitors
Pre - Nak CA-5
AMP - Adcom 555 (Main)
Main - Polk RTI8**/RTiA5
AMP - Adcom 545II (Center)
Center - Polk CSiA4**
Sub - Snell Basis 300:p......Zone 3 (Outside)
CD - Yamaha CDC-555.......Def Tech AW5500
TV - Pani TH-42PZ80U
BR - LG BD390
Monster HTS1600 Power Center
Dedicated Circuit - (2) 20amp, (1) 15amp
Ben's IC, Canare 4S11
**Dayton and Sonicap Caps with Mills Resistors** -
Music, HT or both? For HT, I would add a sub, mainly music I don't think I would. Don't care much for the Polk subs myself, I would shop around.

I agree with both of these guys. You can always add a sub later, because the 25's give a nice base response. When I was buying, I personally went with the LSi15's because I planned to run dual subs from day one. That being said, the 25's are great and a PSW1000 would be the preferred IF you were going with a Polk sub.
If you are planning on HT most then consider SVS. Otherwise a Velodyne would be great. My Main Gear
