looking into buying speakers for my wine bar lounge, which is about 1100 sq f. thinking about installing 6 speakers.
need help on deciding which polk speakers.
prefer not to have subwoofer on the side somewhere.
prefer each speaker to have its own woofer.
same goes for an amplifier. which amplifier would be a good choice?

I went with B&W 685's in my bar/lounge.

I have Polk everywhere else in the house, but also wanted a good low end without a sub. Amp will depend on power needs. If you get 8 Ohm speakers they will be easier (and less expensive) to drive. IMO if you are going Polk go with LSi9's which have a terrific low end. That being said, you will need a lot more clean power to make these sound great because they are 4 ohm speakers. Are you planning on using a Receiver and an Amplifier, or just a receiver? My Main Gear
