When I sold my old fridge, I left it in the garage and plugged in so the person buying it saw it sitting there, running, and icy cold. This way if they got it home and it isn't working I could say well, guess you broke it.
Would you buy a pair of speakers without plugging them up to make sure they work and aren't blown? Would you buy a $500 amp without plugging it in, hooking up some speakers, and checking to see if it works?
I also do the same when I sell an item. If it's a lawnmower I tell them if they want to buy it, come to the house so they can try it and see it is working. Laptop, desktop computer, same thing. I don't want to risk someone calling me and telling me I sold them something that isn't working. Stereo - you know it, come over and see it working.
I try to do this for everything I sell, or buy.

Hey bro. I hope all these fun suggestions have helped you release a little steam. I wouldn't do any of the revenge stuff myself. What goes around comes around. Not worth getting in trouble over, or letting anger fester inside.
BenPlease. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. If you need help let these guys know. There are many people who will help if you let them know where you are.
Thanks

Hawkeye,
I don't know when you did your 21 years. Now I didn't retire a chief, just a master, but during my entire 32 years, a good chief was a guy you could go to with any kind of problem that you were having. A good chief would know about the off-base businesses preying on the kids, and also about the douchebags under his charge.
Around 1976 some guy wrote me a bad check at Pease AFB in NH. I was TDY up there for the winter of 76-77. Now short of doing the illegal thing, breaking his legs, was the legal thing, pressing formal charges. What a time consuming thing that would've been for me. I opted to go see his chief. The entire affair took about 20 minutes. The chief never even asked to see the bounced check. Called the guy in off the flightline right then and there. You should've seen the look on his face when he walked in the office and saw me sitting there with the chief. Then before he put his wallet away, you should've seen his face when the chief tutored him on the definition of "Insufficient Funds Fee" which my bank had levied on me. I also have a feeling they continued their meeting long after I left. That was 76-77.
