I'm on the lookout for another pair of SDA's. Can you or someone else clue me in on which series is the best buy. I don't think I want to spend the money or have space for the SRS's . I have the 2's and a Stereo Review of that model from June 84 says that "...Matt Polk set out to make a less costly version (of the 1) without giving up too much in sound quality.. he succeeded so well that the SDA-2 system not only sells for $500 less but it actually sounds better than the original SDA-1".

I'm within driving distance of Raleigh (ref: Craigslist above) and I'm kind of wondering why someone had 4 speakers in storage for years. Is that a show stopper , being in storage. Thanks for advice..

Without a doubt the SDA-1C is the best one. Make him an offer. Good Luck.

The only problem storage can have is was it dry storage. You want to make sure the cabs are good.
