Hi guys,
I'm lookin for a little help on which amp (must be polk) would be best for 2 10" SR104-DVC subs.
Can I hook up 2 subs to a monoblock amp? or would it sound better with a 2 channel amp? and how much wattage or what model would you recommend for either.
thanks for any help.

I would recommend a PA1200.1. Wire it down to 1 ohm so each sub will be receiving 600 watts.

I talked to a polk rep.
and he said that if I wired this amp to 1 ohm to both subs, and wired it so its parallel that they'd both be receiving 1200 watts. is this true? and is running parallel going to make me lose SQ -
no, you will get 600 watts to each sub and 1200 watts total @ 1 ohm.kenwood excelon kdc-x991 h.u.
Rockford Fosgate 360.3 DSP
Rockford Fosgate POWER1000 running entire system
Image Dynamics IDQ12 Sub
Morel Elate 6 front stage -
yeah, they'd both be receiving 1200 watts in total... but it'd be 600 watts per individual sub like killerb said.
