I have now joined the ranks of home owners!:D I closed on a condo in Quincy this morning, I will be moving in next month.

I own it outright so I don't have to worry about a mortgage. I was able to do this because we sold our shares to our Co-op on June 30th. If it hadn't been for that & for the market going into the toilet, I would never been able to do this.

Now the real fun begins...PACKING!

It's been quite a ride to get here, but that's another story I don't have time for right now!:)

Congrats. Now you need some 1.2TLs or maybe McIntosh XRT2Ks to make use of the new space.

Congrats Cathy. Make sure you get one that is soundproofed so you can really crank it up :D

Well, I just pulled off the impossible by doing a double-blind comparison all by myself, purely by virtue of the fact that I completely and stupidly forgot what I did last. I guess that getting old does have its advantages after all :D

Congrats Cathy!!! Now there's no excuse for not buying SDA's or LSi's. Your new condo deserves new speakers :D

Maybe you'll be ready to entertain us Polkies form PF by that time ;)

That is AWESOME news! Nothing better than owning your own place. And not having to pay a mortgage is awesome too! 670 sq ft is enough. My house was about 750 sq ft finished and it housed me and my equipment for 18 years. OK, so it got tight when I started collecting big speakers and tube amps. :)

    PICS!

Well the ceilings are reinforced concrete, Which is going to make it a little inconvenient to install the ceiling fans that I want. and the apt. next door to me is empty right now!

Thank you very much Carl! Unfortunately I don't have a deck/portico, that would have been nice.

Ahm in between Doahchestah, & Braintree. No I don't have a view of the Hahbah, but I'm maybe a mile's walk away from the beach in Wollaston!:D

Did you even read the thread? LOL!

    Congrats Cathy!

Also, I agree with H9, it's time for a pair of LSi15's. About them being heavy, how is that a concern? How often do you move that amp around? :D
