I have for sale a total of three home theater amplifiers:
1) Parasound HCA-800II 2 channel amp. $125 firm + shipping
This is in very good condition, no marks or any scuffs on the face plate. I would rate it conservatively as a 7/10 condition. You can see from the first two pictures that it is in great condition. This is one of the early models from their HCA line.
It can be run in 2-channel or bridged mono with 8ohm speakers. This was my first real amplifier and I hate to see it go, but I need to sell it to raise some funds. Includes original owners manual.
Specs:
Continuous Power Output - Stereo
100 watts RMS x 2, 20Hz-20kHz, 8ohm
150 watts RMS x 2, 20Hz-20kHz, 4ohm
Continuous Power Output - Mono
260 watts RMS, 20Hz-20kHz, 8ohm
Current Capacity 28.3 amperes continuous
40 amperes peak, up to 200msec.
Slew Rate 60V/m second
Frequency Response 8Hz-90kHz, +0/-3dB
Total Harmonic Distortion < 0.08% at full power, < 0.03% typical levels
Full specs can be found at this link.
2) I have two (2) Audiosource 100 amplifiers. $65 each + shipping
Both are refurbished units that work great and provide a very nice step up from AV receivers. They can each be run in 2-channel mode or bridged. There is one scratch mark on the left side of one of the units, but both faceplates are very clean and don't have any scratches or scuffs. I would conservatively rate the one with a scratch as a 6/10 condition and the one without a scratch as a 7/10.
Specs:
- Power Output: 8 ohm stereo 50W x 2
- 8 ohm bridged 150W x 1
- Frequency Response: 20Hz - 20kHz +1dB/-0.5dB
- Signal to Noise Ratio: 101dBA at 8

Perhaps I need to resort to some retail-store-gimmicky-pricing to move this merchandise ...

Bridging it to mono is real easy assuming that you are using an 8ohm speaker. There's a switch on the back that you have to set to "Mono", and then just connect your speaker wire to the red positive connectors. That's all there is to it - and then you've got a clean, excellent sounding 250w of power!
Shipping to 98327 would be about $25.My HT

Quick question on the Parasound, would this be adequate or overkill for a CSi5? Also how about shipping cost to 92173. Thanks in advance!
-
I think it would be pretty bad **** if you bridged it for a CSi5. It would probably help out a lot with the clarity of dialogue in movies. You might just want to use an SPL meter to make sure all the levels of your speakers are where you want them to be though. That way your center doesn't stand out and ruin the surround experience.

slikpolk - The Parasound would work great bridged to a CSi5. I can say that it absolutely made my RTi8's sound great when it was running in stereo, so feeding all the power to your center channel would really make sound effects and dialogue come to life.
Shipping to 92173 would be about $22. Let me know if you are interested!
