Lsi9 and Lsic on a HK AVR-435
Does anyone have any experience using these 4-ohm speakers with Harman's high current AVR models? Does the protection circuit trip? I would use 8-ohm speakers for the rears.

I'm sure you will be fine with the HK,you shouldn't trip at all unless you are going to try and make your ears bleed. That said, you'll need an amp and use the HK as a pre to get the most out of those Lsi's.

They're some good amps for sale right now on the forum that will do your lsi's proud>

Welcome to Club Polk
HK makes one of the better receivers for hard to drive speakers. Like said though you will probably want to add an amp later.
BenPlease. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. If you need help let these guys know. There are many people who will help if you let them know where you are.
Thanks

Here is a link to an HK amp that is for sale on this forum. You could probably pair it with your 435. I'm not an HK guy by any means, but it's nice to have branded components.
