How to wall mount monitor 30's?
I am thinking of getting monitor 30's for my surrounds. How do you wall mount them?
I know they are supposed to be 2-3 ft above ear level when sitting, but are there brackets to buy or do you just use some sort of screw?
Thanks for the help
FYI, my room is approx 16' x 20' x 7'

You can buy additional brackets, such as B-Tech BT77, or the built-in keyhole slot.

Simply use the appropriate wall anchor, such as a wood screw, and slide it on.CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

hey there dh,
He is correct. There is a little metal piece that is bolted on to the top of the monitor 30s that has a keyhole slot. Also there are rubber (or plastic?) stoppers on the bottom of the speakers. This keeps the speaker cabinet from scraping up the wall and gives in about an inch or so of separation from the back of the cabinet to the wall. This gives a little space for the port to breathe as well. If you get a long enough screw, you can have the screw protrude a bit out from the wall and this will allow you to angle the speaker down a little bit if needed.KEF Q150 | Rythmik F12 | Yamaha Aventage RX-A780
