I have this boxed up and ready to ship. How about $200 shipped CONUS Fedex Home (Ground)? I'll leave it here a few days before it goes to the gon... I'm looking to get it out the door this week.
I actually sold this on the bay a few weeks ago, but then had a falling out with the buyer when he contacted me on Saturday night after the auction ended to demand shipping via USPS... not a problem, but I had already made my trip to the Post Office to ship other items and wasn't up for the headache of making another trip and waiting in that line just because this guy decided to wait a few days post-auction to contact me. He also took a condenscending attitude with me regarding how I'd pack the table and continued to be a pain in my **** without any attempt at actually paying for the item, so I asked him to agree to disagree with me and step away from the auction. In retrospect, I was a bit of a stubborn **** as well... I blame it on my low tolerance for people who take a condenscending attitude behind the security of their keyboard.
Why didn't I bring it here first? The truth is, I didn't want my first turntable shipping experience to be here. If something goes wrong on a bay sale, it's just a negative feedback. If something went wrong with a sale here, I'd feel a little guilt along with the negative feedback. I don't like to feel feelings.
This was my first experience in packing a turntable for shipment, so I followed the link below pretty well. Any liberties I took were to improve on the instructions provided. I was initially pretty hestitant to ship a turntable, but the other 2 I shipped arrived with no issues and if anything I took a little extra care with this one as it is the nicest of the bunch... overall I spent about 11 hours packing up the 3 tables (maybe that's why I took it out on the initial buyer of this table).
Here's the description from the bay listing (it's not currently listed or going to be relisted):
Here is a Denon Direct Drive DP 1200 Turntable. I picked it up a couple years ago and played a few records with it...it works perfect and sounds great. The tonearm looks to be original, although I'm not sure what model it is. The cartridge is a Grado FT+.
The plinth is in overall great shape. The veneer is slightly loose at the bottom corner of the right front and also the bottom corner of the back right side. Otherwise the veneer is in great condition and intact. The platter has a scuff on the front left side between the button to choose between 33/45 and Start/Stand By. The rubber mat is included. The other control on the platter is a speed adjustment.
The great feature for this turntable as opposed to most turntables is that you can use any interconnects that you choose without having to disassemble and solder replacements in.
The dust cover is in place and in great condition with no cracks or breaks. It has the scratches you would expect to see on a turntable of this age.
The date code on this turntable is 79-08.
As an amateur, I am describing this turntable as well as I can. If you have any specific questions, please let me know and I'll do my best to answer. You will obviously need to set this table up when you receive it...Michael Fremer's DVD "21st Century Vinyl" has been my favorite reference for making sure I'm doing it right.
I have a printout of the instruction manual that I will include.
I'll follow the instructions specified on this website for shipping (including double boxing): http://www.theturntablefactory.com/packing.html
Insurance will be included in the shipping price.

Love the turntable, great job in packing szhleppy. I work in the shipping business. Wish all shippers took the care as you did in packing. There would be less damages.
