Pioneer Elite Receiver and Polk LSI/FX

1. Excellent condition Pioneer Elite VSX-84TXSi 7.1 THX Receiver iPod HDMI

I have the receiver for about 6 months. The only reason I am selling is I was separated from the wife for that period and now that I have moved back to town we do not need two receivers. $500 plus shipping. I started grad school and also need the cash.

2. Polk LSI/FX $500 shipped in lower 48. I though I had these sold before but buyer wanted me to pick up the shipping to Canada, I could not take that kind of loss.

Both items are in factory box with original paperwork.

I will be listing alot of DVDs for $5 shipped in the next couple of days.

I am located in Lexington,KY but drive to Tennessee alot so I could maybe meet if you want to pick up.

    Anybody want to chime in on this unit, I mean has anyone used it. Have someone who interested in purchasing this.

    I had an 82txs for about 7 months and couldn't have been more pleased. The mosfets are very smooth and the amp section is pretty strong, no exaggerated bass like many receivers. I remember reading somewhere that it measured around 175 @ 8 ohms in stereo and 250 @4 ohms in stereo. Around 115 @ 8 ohms into 5 channels. Not recommended to drive a full set of 4 ohm speakers, but it is a tank otherwise. Easy setup, nice integrated ipod system. Upconversion to HDMI works pretty well with most sources. Locks onto HDMI and audio signals quickly. Only downside (for me since I enjoy it) is the lack of a removeable power cord. But a great receiver for any setup that isn't all LSi's. If you don't need the new audio codecs, this is the top of the line receiver.

    I don't have this ELITE receiver but one a couple of notches down (VSX54TX?). Have owned for about 3 years and never had a single issue with it. I just switched to Anthem & Rotel seperates and let me say that I have a new respect for receivers now. Didn't hear a huge difference going to seperates from my trusty ELITE.

    Great choice. Hard to beat for the money and will last a long time. Let him know that the Pure Direct mode is actually quite nice for music with good quality sources. And I can say from direct experience that this receiver sounds great paired up with Paradigm Studios...:D

    Anybody know this guy, he has some of my brothers money and I can't get a response on shipping. I myself am a easy going guy, my brother on the other hand is not, and being in law enforcement does not help. Not starting nothing just thinking out loud, as he was going to send it out right away, as he got paid right away. Not another ugly scene. If all goes well then to harm no foul. We shall see.

    I agree. I hope all goes well. After my speakers crapping out, that's the last thing your brother needs is another roadblock for his home theater. But with a name like Kaiser Sose, my guess is we'll never hear from him again:p

    I don't know him but sold him a Xbox game recently. He paid instantly.
