Oppo wiring questions and such

need some answers before going out and spending $. i currently have an oppo 970 which is controlling my home theater, no pre/pro. it is controlling the amp for the fronts, amp for the rears, amp for the center. the sub is powered. i want to add a dedicated cd player and maybe a tape deck and vcr(gasp) to the mix but dont know how to do it. i have an old denon 1801 h/t receiver i could use but it doesnt have an out for the surrounds, just for the center and fronts. so, what do i do? buy a pre/pro or find a nice cheap receiver that has outs for the fronts/center/sub and rears?

    already have an adcom running the fronts, an adcom running the rears and a bridged audiosource doing the center, with a powered sub :)
