I pretty much have my speakers figured out just need to figure out what AMP I want to get. If you dont think my speakers are good enough, advise me please.... (These polks are the ones that wil fit thanks to crutchfield info) heard these speakers arent great with bass so will probably have to look into a SUB at a later time. (not interested to get one now want to hear everything first)
Honda accord 2000 sedan (6 1/2 front) (6x9 back)
Head Unit:
Pioneer deh-p7000bt
Front Speakers:
Polk Audio db6501
Rear Speakers:
Polk Audio db690
Need to find an Amp that will have enough power to run these as well as run a Sub (in the future just in case I get one) Talking to people AMP makes everything, so really important to find the right one. The ones with bass boost does that really make a different and enhance bass without a sub or am I looking at it wrong?
The Rockford Fosgate Power T400-4 intrigues me...
- not sure if thats enough power though, not sure if Im figuring out the Rms properly or not remember im a Novice when it comes to car audio
Any information would be appreciated thank you soo much.

I use to have a 6 channel infinity amp that is now being used by my neighbor. It was a great amp got it at crutchfield. The model closest to it is this http://www.crutchfield.com/App/Product/Item/Main.aspx?g=120&i=108R5350A&tp=115. But here is the thing two separate amps would be more efficient than one big one. Because the one amp would have to do double duty to proses sound for all channels. As apposed to two separate amps that would be able to do want they do best in there own way I always liked alpine amps, but there is also JL audio which are basically the best of the best.HT setup

FYI just to let you know why I bought a 6 channel amp as apposed to two amps is because my father had a say at that time what went into that car. So I sort of snuck in a sub this way. Worked like a charm.HT setup

thanks for your opinion. What rms wattage should I get to just work with these speakers? 4 channel 300 watt would be enough or something bigger you think? Ill look into getting another amp then for the sub alone when I decide one.

40 watts would be the minimum I would go with those speakers I would go with 60 a nice efficient power for them. As for the sub it depends on the sub that you are going to get. That Infinity above will do nicely for what you need.HT setup

id recommend this infinity

or the jbl equivelent. they would both power 2 sets of speakers quite well and leave room for a sub later on the amp -
50-75 RMS would be a good match for those.
As for brands, any of the major names would be a safe choice. RF, MTX, Alpine, Kicker and lets not forget the new line of Polk amps.polkaudio sound quality competitor since 2005
