I am currently tinkering with a secondary system in my den and am after a tuner as part of the project. If you have one not in use I would be interested in hearing about it . Preference for black face is possible. Thx in advance.

    I have an old Sansui TU5500 that's in pretty good condition, and black to boot, but it is missing a knob :-)
    The price is right, though, free (plus the cost of shipping; US only please). That's what it cost me (a dump find).

    That is a very generous offer and is very much appreciated. Unfortunately I live in Canada and on the West Coat as well so it might be better to find someone more local to where you live.

    I just had a funny feeling you might be in Canada :-(

    It's just tedious enough to ship stuff to Canada that I am inhibited.

    The cost would also probably be about as much as the tuner's really worth.

    I agree..cross border shipping is a major pain; not to mention pretty costly as well. If I was East Coast it would not be so bad.
