Strange request yeah, but I need to lay about 1000 sq of teak flooring. I'm going to breakdown and buy a nailer shortly but I thought I take a shot at the greater polkie community.

I'm pretty set on the make and model of the flooring nailer I want to pick up, but if you have another pneumatic flooring nailer, not stapler, which you think would work feel free to send me a PM.

I'll pay market value on the nailer.

Thanks,

Jeremy

For a one-time deal, wouldn't it be easier to rent one? When we laid down the laminate wood floor in my dad's house, the place we bought the floor from rented us one for free... And it was a brand-new bostich.. .worked really nicely.
    Ludicrous gibs!

Not a bad idea, I've actually looked into it. But I'm going to be doing this over a number of weekends(no more than 4 hopefully), the damn M thru F thing get's in the way, and the rental will end up costing a ridiculous amount of money. So I'll end up buying the nailer.

The worst part about it is my wife won the battle. She got the floors and I couldn't get a new pair of front speakers. The wife wasn't understanding the need for a beautiful pair of Acapella La Campanella's. I tried to explain the floors will only be downstairs but the sound from the Campas will be heard throughout the house and down the street for that matter. I don't think this helped my case. :D

Around here the rental stores will sell off some of their previously rented equipment at decent prices. Personally, I would check into that. I say that, but I always seem to buy the new ones...
