Chuck, you should really seek some help. We care about you man.
I never had it like this where I grew up. But I send my kids here because the fact is you go to one of the best schools in the country: Rushmore. Now, for some of you it doesn't matter. You were born rich and you're going to stay rich. But here's my advice to the rest of you: Take dead aim on the rich boys. Get them in the crosshairs and take them down. Just remember, they can buy anything but they can't buy backbone. Don't let them forget it. Thank you.Herman Blume - Rushmore

dkg, I don't need no stinking intervention

Bill, the VPI is off to be checked over 100% and a decision will be made as to what tonearm and what cart will be used.

Ben, I'm on a first name basis with the folks at the ER now because of the frequent trips there. I'm fine now and waiting for the next attack. And the rock belongs to Bill. I'll be back for it when I come see you this week.

Demi, are you kidding me? Of course not.

Jason, I see you care, but all the gear is in the will for my son. Good try. And give me a call if you wish to get a listen to some SDA's. I need a notice so I can let Mary know my plans. She knows I'm leaving again so we are trying to work out a schedule for our time together. Both of us are busy as hell right now.

    Pics posted soon.

Ok...who wants to see the results????? I know its not Class A all the way, but damn I like the way this sounds. And I like the VTI stand. Good looks and easy to configure. One thing I should mention, the shelves scratch easily. Keep a Minwax touch-up pen handy just in case.

Its silly how I smile while I listen to the way Sade sings on this rig. I have it on the tube set-up right now and I'm in Heaven. I swear I must have done something out of nowhere to make the soundstage come alive. I haven't been able to get this much pleasure from any of this gear like I'm hearing now. Could be the new cables. the combination of cables and gear, could be the way the tubes have been rolled. The KT88's have a nice way of letting you know you've stepped up a notch. The Telefunken 12AX7's sure as hell sound musical. I can't wait to throw down on some heavy **** rock thru the SS set-up. I'm thinking maybe some old school Van Halen or some classic Pink Floyd on MFSL. I'll get back to you. I am really enjoying this. Its good to be back home with my friendly gear.

Its all good and I'd love the chance to get some thoughts on the set-ups. Change a few cables. swap speakers, Bring the Tannoys into the scene......etc. I'm really in a zone here. Put the zip ties down and step away from the audio equipment. Come quietly and I will let you keep a set of speakers and a amp of your choice the rest comes with me. Dude that is a lot of power there i don't know if you are married or not but stay single WOW. I'll be over that way in a month or so might have to stop by.

Married to my gear my friend. (single) Music has always been my escape. It is the one place I can always go to and get some solitude in my life. This is so nice. I swear at the expense of sounding like a wuss, I'm about to shed a tear over how GD good this sounds. I have oh so missed my gear while on the road for the past 3 1/2 months. Then to be able to come home to loads of new cables, amps, albums, a new rack, pre/pro, CD's, DCA's and so on. Damnit guys...this is what its all about.

WOW! Congrats Chuck! I love the looks of the setup. That Sansui gives me wood! Look at all that Parasound goodness! I don't see the PS Audio speaker cables:confused: It's not like they are easy to hide. LOL! Great looking system, I'm sure it sounds great!

Thanks guys. I wish I could share this bliss. The soundstage is phenom. The SDA's are working like they were meant. The presence is unreal. I've switched the B&W's for the SDA's on the tube side. I can close my eyes and see the concert in front of me. I can pick each person and instrument from the whole. The separation is like nothing I've heard or felt before.

Carl I'm still looking for the cables. That should be a whole new experience when they get here.
