    Used Velo SPL series.

    I second that.

Or if you can, a good DIY sub will be an excellent value for the money.

Would the PSW1000 (Lsi) Sub be worth waiting for and spending the extra money for? Would they go better with the Lsi9s?

From everyone I've talked with tells me the Epik Valor at $550 is the best bargain for a sealed sub for music (with high output for HT). 18hz with plenty of midbass slam, but stops on a dime. Married to the 9s, I think it would work well.

    Combo rig:

Onkyo NR1007 pre-pro, Carver TFM 45(fronts), Carver TFM 35 (surrounds)
    SDA 1C, CS400i, SDA 2B
    PB13Ultra RO
    BW Silvers
    Oppo BDP-83SE

Well, it looks like I am going with the Martin Logan. The local tweeter has them for $599.00

    Thanks

Personally I would wait a little longer until you can afford a little more especially with your current setup. You have such a nice setup!!!

I listened to a ton of subs and felt that I needed to spend a little more for my needs....and boy I'm glad I did. My sub is so tight, clean and the perfect addition for my setup.

No offense, but IMO that sub isn't in the same class as the Martin Logan (musically)
