Please help recommend a good Sub to go with my Lsi9s.
I am looking for a quality sub to be used with a 2 channel music only system.
I have a small to medium sized room and a budget from $400-700 for the Sub.
My system consists of:
Cambridge Audio Azur 740A integrated amp
Cambridge Audio Azur 640C V2 CD player
2 Lsi9s on epos 35st stands sitting on top of 3 granite plinths
Looking at Polk pro, Velodyne, Martin Logan dynamo

Used Velo SPL series."He who fights with monsters should look to it that he himself does not become a monster. And when you gaze long into an abyss the abyss also gazes into you." Friedrich Nietzsche

Used Velo SPL series.
I second that.
Or if you can, a good DIY sub will be an excellent value for the money.polkaudio RT35 Bookshelves

Would the PSW1000 (Lsi) Sub be worth waiting for and spending the extra money for? Would they go better with the Lsi9s?Music room: Cambridge Audio 650A, Cambridge Audio 650C, Polk Audio Lsi9's, Audioquest type 4 and diamond back.

From everyone I've talked with tells me the Epik Valor at $550 is the best bargain for a sealed sub for music (with high output for HT). 18hz with plenty of midbass slam, but stops on a dime. Married to the 9s, I think it would work well.
Combo rig:
Onkyo NR1007 pre-pro, Carver TFM 45(fronts), Carver TFM 35 (surrounds)
SDA 1C, CS400i, SDA 2B
PB13Ultra RO
BW Silvers
Oppo BDP-83SE -
Well, it looks like I am going with the Martin Logan. The local tweeter has them for $599.00

Personally I would wait a little longer until you can afford a little more especially with your current setup. You have such a nice setup!!!
I listened to a ton of subs and felt that I needed to spend a little more for my needs....and boy I'm glad I did. My sub is so tight, clean and the perfect addition for my setup.
