Hooking up Powered Subwoofer To Powered Amplifier Port

I have an amplifier that has a subwoofer hookup that looks just like a speaker hookup. I was wondering if i could put a powered subwoofer on this channel.

If it is indeed a speaker level output (not line), then feed it into the subwoofer's speaker level input.-Eric

Most of the time, you should refer to your manual as to how to connect your subwoofer. If your subwoofer has LFE in and your receiver has a Subwoofer out (LFE out), you should be taking advantage of those.
