Up until last week my setup was a Adcom GTP-500II and a GFA-555II
powering my RTi10s and a GFA-545 powering my RTi8s. I sold my 8s
and now just running my 10s with the 555 and when i crank it up the
mid-woofers go crazy they look like there going to jump out and can
hear them distort.
I never had that with the other setup. I'm going to try the 545 amp
with the 10s and see what happens. Or should i try to Bi-amp with
the two amps? Use the 545 for the top and the 555 for the woofers.
Need to know if the top connectors are for the tweeter and mid.
thanks jerry

If your are hearing them distort with one amp and you are interested in adding another amp, then I'd be careful with not cranking it up to distortion levels. Top posts are for the tweeter/mids and the bottom for the 2 woofers.

Well if i bi-amp the mid and tweeter would be getting powered
by the 545 a little less power.

trying the 545 amp is not a bad idea , i have my friend using it , i heard it is a little more expensive than the similar items , but it has feature like the bias trimpot.

I think i found the problem it looks like the cone is not attached
to that brown wavey material. Can that be re-glued?
I'm trying to post pics but it not reading the camera.
Looks like the glue came apart and the cone moves without
    any suspension.
    thanks jerry

How loud were you playing them? If you were hitting 110dbs, you might have clipped and blown the driver, though I'd think the tweeter would have gone first.

    Combo rig:

Onkyo NR1007 pre-pro, Carver TFM 45(fronts), Carver TFM 35 (surrounds)
    SDA 1C, CS400i, SDA 2B
    PB13Ultra RO
