    They are relevant and they do affect sound. Just because you got one guy who is a product line manager telling you different doesn't mean that the laws of physics don't apply.

    That was one post of many stating the same thing. Modern day amplifiers have improved to the point that those specs should not be taken into consideration when purchasing an amp.

    Something that does have to do with headroom is the power specs. Buy an amp with the power specs to give you the head room you want.
