Someone kicked my car last night!

Some douchebag (probably drunk) kicked my rear quarter panel really hard last night and left a nice dent in it. I could even see the print of his/her shoe b/c it was a little dirty. Probably some retarded kids.

I tried bumping it out, but its still quite noticeable. Insurance wants $500 deductible if I want them to fix it. Ugh... I don't really know what to do. I might leave it like this for a while. I purposely left my car looking stock so people don't do this ****. My dad heard the alarm go off near midnight, but he said he didn't see anyone when he looked out the window.

People piss me off. If I find out who did it, I'm going to lock them in a cage and make them listen to britney spears all day.

Sorry to hear that. It really sucks when someone screws with your property like that.

Some **** knocking jackass hit my car back on the 4th of July while it was parked out in front of my place. It was a hit and run, so I didn't find out about it until the next day. A cop was called to the scene because he left a note on my car, but unfortunately they didn't catch whoever did it.

Apparently they knocked over 2 motorcycles that were parked in front of me as well.

Ah well, could have been worse. I believe they'll get what's coming to them at some point. Always seems to even out in the end.

    Off topic....

Seriously though.....whats going on in Canada ??? We got guys getting their cars kicked in.....guys coming to these and other forums to either sell bunk **** or rip people off...selling speakers on Ebay and pulling out and not honoring the purchase...guys starting threads that get closed down a few minutes ago.....I could go on and on.

It just seems that a LOT of the negative happening on the forum here and elseware are coming from Canada ??? Just an observation I have noticed over the past few months...nothing more.
I actually have a couple of friends there and have done 2 purchases there off of a couple of forums...all went perfect without a hitch. Its just lately a lot of negative has been standing out.

    On topic...

Luckily I get to sleep here in CA with my front door open most of the year and I am usually awake most of the night...and what I cant hear one of the 3 dogs will.

Sorry to hear about your car.....but an **** kicking would be less invasive then giving them Britney....show SOME restraint ...there are things no man should endure...criminal or not ;)

You know, I think you're car probably deserved it. It was just askin' for it! Sittin' there all by it's lonesome in the dark. Probably blinded the dude when a glint of street lamp light blinded him!

See what happens when you let your car hang out in bad neighborhoods? Maybe you should start taking a different way home.

Before you cough up the dough for your deductible, see if there are any paintless dent repair outfits around you. The ones we deal with at work do a very good job of getting rid of the dent. Typically between $75 and $150, depending on the severity of it.

Thanks for the comments. I'm upset, but it could have been much worse... compared to other things people do like this:

People will be people. You'll always find those who take pleasure in vandalism until one day they taste their own medicine. Even though I live in a pretty good neighborhood, there are a bunch of teens that just walk around at night... usually drunk because its the summer and they have nothing better to do. A few weeks ago I was installing coilovers and it was past midnight because I just didn't have any other time to do it. I was surprised at how many people I saw walk by.

Anyways, I'm gonna be visiting a few places that might be able to help me out without having to replace the entire quarter panel. Hopefully it all works out.

    +1

Good one, Strider (where do you work btw?). It only cost me $100 to fix the same on my year-old car - and it's the 1st thing I wanted to suggest when I read the title.

The before/after seems too good to be true until you see it done on your car.

    Lance: Still got your Malibu?
Vincent: Aw, man. You know what some f****r did the other day?
    Lance: What?
    Vincent: F***ing keyed it.
Lance: Oh, man, that's f***ed up.
Vincent: Tell me about it. I had it in storage for three years, it was out for five days and some dickless piece of s**t f***ed with it.
Lance: They should be f***ing killed. No trial, no jury, straight to execution.
Vincent: Boy, I wish I could've caught him doing it. I'd have given anything to catch that a**hole doing it. It'd been worth him doing it just so I could've caught him doing it.
    Lance: What a f***er!
    Vincent: What's more chickens**t than f***ing with a man's automobile? I mean, don't f*** with another man's vehicle.
    Lance: You don't do it.
Vincent: It's just against the rules.
