I have some KLH 3-ways, brand new ($9 each on sale), simply purchased for the cabs alone (for a JBL 8" FR driver project).

Anyone want the *new* KLH drivers to eff with? Two 8 inch woofs, two 4.5 inch mids, and two .75 inch mylar tweets. Free for the taking, you pay shipping.

Cheers,
Russ

    ANY idea on weight/shipping?

I have no need for them.. but could play.. but I can't justify more than $15 or so in shipping.

    What about the crossovers???

You don't want the xovers, cheesy, 2 caps, 1 resistor for a 3-way design. Besides they are glued to the terminal cup, which is glued to the cab, which I want to use.

Email me an addy, I'll get em out to you. These aren't heavy, I can't see shipping being more than $10-$12, if so, I'll eat it.

    Cheers,
    Russ

    Address sent..... thanks.

No need to eat it... if you take the trouble to box and ship them, I'll pay my part.

    Consider these sold, folks.

Thanks, Russ. Address is already in your email.

Actually, they are similar to yours, but not the same. The woofer is pretty decent, has a bucking mag attached, and a concave dustcap (flat to the woof cone). The midrange doesn't have that metal grill, and has a bullet dustcap. Tweet looks identical, mylar construction, but didn't sound THAT bad (for a mass-produced $3 tweeter).

Now go clean your room Sid, and try to take some pictures in *focus* next time. ;)

Burdette, I'll get the cap/resistor values for you, just in case.

    Cheers,
    Rooster

Henry Kloss was the "man" for a very long time from AR to KLH to Advent. Was just rereading his paper, "Hofmann's Iron Law" (don't ask me why), that I picked up at AudioCraft on Cleveland, OH's near east side. Used to love to go there and dream and watch Mac's torture AR's with the deep bass synth on ELP's "Lucky Man".

Roomie of mine in colege had KLH-6's.. a very nice speaker, even by today's standards.
    More later,
    Tour...
