    From Polk.....and I quote.....

"To ensure a valid warranty, Polk products must be purchased at an Authorized Polk Audio Dealer. (If you're not sure a dealer is "authorized," call Polk Audio at 1-800-377-7655, and ask us.) " ;)

I went ahead and called Polk Audio for you in case you were at work and couldn't get a hold of them during business hours.

They are NOT an authorized Polk dealer!

I ordered some Cerwin Vega parts a while back. The guy seemed ok. You definitely get what you pay for... be careful and read ALL of the ad! I ordered CV speaker kits and the only the crossover was a CV part.
I'm on the fence with this so, neither recommend nor discourage...! I'm just saying be careful.
    Thanks, Jeff...

That place sells a lot of different kinds of things and seems questionable to me. It's not that I'm against getting an SL6001 and an above ground pool at the same website, it's just suspicious to me.

Let me give you the better answers instead of your speculation... Electro Mavin is an electronics surplus dealer, among other things that might pop up from time to time, hence the Pools... Hey if you can sell them and make money isn't that the name of the game..
Now let me get to the heart of your question is the material valid Polk material? Yes, the material is older model Polk that has been discontinued and disposed of. You can bet if I tell you it is Cerwin Vega, it is Cerwin Vega, if I say it is ESS Labs, it is ESS Labs, M&K it is M&K and yes the material is Polk new old stock.
It doesn't pay to lie about this type of thing unless you are based in China, you get these nice visits from people like the FBI wanting to talk to you.
Some of the product such as the SL5000, SL5501 tweeters are in boxes marked Genuine Polk Replacement Parts, another NO, NO unless you want a visit from the legal department.
We by deals from companies going out of business, distributors closing out products, the owner of ESS Labs contacted us to buy his excess inventory as he was moving the business from the USA to Italy. Likewise I like to play golf and know a little bit about it, so I bought a golf deal several thousand sets. And I make money on them that is what it is about. But I don't sell crap, we're selective in what we buy, it must be brand name and of good quality, and to make sure of what we sell I have set up a basic lab to test the product.
Mine is a pretty nice life, I get to play with the things I like, and I do a good job at making sure what I sell is what I say it is..

if you have an issue, feel free to call me, I'm not here to play games of lie to anyone,, I believe that if you have a question why speculate ask the person at the center of the question. Got a question, need clarification, ASK...

John, there was no speculation. The OP had a legit question and got a legit answer that came straight from the horses mouth at Polk HQ.

To ensure a valid warranty, Polk products must be purchased at an Authorized Polk Audio Dealer

You are not an authorized dealer. He asked, I answered. I'm not bashing you, your products or your company. I simply answered a legitimate question.
