Ok i have found a local dealer who has the Rotel 1075 for a grand, I don't have a grand but want this amp... so i'f my onkyo amp sells i will save the money as of now for this amp. I know i said i didn't want a muti channel amp, but if it needed repair i might as well not have a HT until it got fixed right, weather it be the loss of a 2 channel amp or a 5 you still have to wait before you use the whole setup. so thats my final answer.... or e-bay sells these for about 850.00 used.. But new gets the warranty and box and all ..... Let me know what you think?? Of course this has to wait until after we get a bigger vehicle after taxes time..
But i can wait. I also found the only auth dealer of polk lsi's locally and can get a demo anytime now.. i get the rotel amp then i might consider next year getting the LSI line up and go from there.. Ok this is all for now

I don't know that I'd be all too worried about an amplifier warranty. Receivers or pre/pros have all the electronics goin on, but an amp is pretty low maintenance, right? I've thought about buyin somethin online based on that ideology........comment comment comment comment. bitchy.

Well they go online for about $850.00 add 30-50 bucks shipping as some of the sellers get high on shipping and packing materials.. I sell also so i know all to well, with about 5-600 transactions under my belt.. anyhow that comes close to 900.00 for a used and possibly no box or papers, when locally i can spend another 100.00 + tax and get it spankin new in the box... I might well get it on e-bay.. I just don't know yetMY HT RIG:

I picked up a 1075 a couple of months ago from a local dealer for $950 (tax not included). I'm using it with a Denon 3803. The looks and performance will make me a repeat Rotel customer. I debated getting a 1080 or 1095, but decided to go for five channels at first. The dealer said he sells 1075s at a 20 to 1 ratio greater than he sells the 1095s. I'd strongly recommend any of the above amps. To me the five year warranty and establishing a relationship with the dealer was important. Maybe he'll cut a better deal next time around. My Rti150s sure could use a 1090 (380 watts/channel), but I'll have to wait at least a year for that.
