Hi All:

Im trying to decide for a center speaker. I already got the CS1 that I love but I am selling it to my dad. I am trying to decide between the new model CS10 which allegedly is the same as my old CS1, the CSI3 or the new CSI A4. They all have the 5 1/4 drivers and the main difference is the wood cabinet and the front vent port. I dont know if paying $100 for the CSI A4 is worth since the center channel is mostly for voices and dialog and I used my system for 60% music / 40% movies. Also is there any difference between CSI3 and the A4 beside the new look?
I already have JBL double 8' front speakers, Velodyne DLS-5000R sub and polk's monitor 30 as surrounds.

A good center channel can make a big difference in movies. I would do what Keiko said and look for a matching JBL speaker. If you’re sticking with Polk I'd get the CSI3. The CSI A4 is very similar besides the look.

I used to have the monitor 50. I sold those to my dad too. How much better is the CSI3 compare to the CS10?

I just picked up the A4 and love it! Very crisp and clear. I paired it with RTi 10's and the sound is amazing. I paid $700 at Tweeter in IL for all 3 speakers. A4 was $250 of that. I have tried it out with about 20 movies and each and every time it delivers the power and clarity i was looking for and this is in a room with 17ft ceilings!
