rta 12b

Is this a good price for some rta 12's? How do they sound. I want to venture into some vintage 2 channel listening for my Bedroom Rig.
Also would I need to do any upgrading to the x overs or tweeter.

They seem to be in great condiditon. I love my 12b's and will never part with them.

They are not RTA-12Bs... they look more like RTA-12As... Peerless tweeter, shorter height and vertical mount of the tweeter... You will need to put them on a stand to make them the right listening height.

I don't think a stand is needed for RTA 12's at all. the openness of where the tweeter is mounted gives them a very open airy highs because of where it's mounted, outside the cab.
I'm sure you could place them on a stand of some kind.. but I don't think it's necessary.

How much were they listed for ??? post has been deleted .. there's a pair of 12c's a couple hours from me .. but they are asking $250 ....

Soon as I seen the listing I emailed him and when he got back with me he told me someone came and got them. I wish he would have had his # in the ad.
