The 3rd biggest show of the year was this past weekend and it was a great one! They crammed it into a single day instead of the usual 2 day to help save competitors money by not needing a motel room and such for a second day.
Both MECA and IASCA held competitions here and I had a great time and got to listen to a lot of great cars! Lots of awesome looking installs as well. Turnout was very solid. The biggest SQ turnout MECA has had so far this year.
I got 2nd place as usual getting beat by Kirk Proffit as usual. Oh well, I suppose if youve got to be somebody's ****, some guy thats won 3 consecutive world championships is as good as anybody.
Managed to take a lot of pics but since Im a moron I forgot to take my digital camera so I took all of these with my cell phone so they wont be the best quality.
This was a Nissan Frontier Crew Cab that had the amps installed in the door panels. Looked pretty sharp.
A big **** monster truck with a low rider S10 parked under it.
This is the re-built dash of David Tinnemen. He won best of show at last years world finals. This is in a Honda CRX.
This was my personal favorite. A bad **** 'Cuda!!
How cool is this?! A Porsche 911 with a MacIntosh system!!
Now this was awesome! You cant tell it by the pic obviously but the sub enclosure was spinning! With all the lights and LED's that were going on it was damn impressive to see!
This was one of the doors in that car.
The rest are just different cars that were at the show.

congrats and thanks for the pics. That Nissan with the amp in the door looks badass. Is that a hertz amp? b/c it looks like audison (even they're both part of the same company). Do you know which components that truck was running by any chance? I'm really interested in hearing a set of Hertz's MLK 165 and MLK 2 but haven't had the opportunity. Has anyone hear had the pleasure of listening to them?

Its an audison amp. Haven't had the chance to listen to any Hertz equipment. I tried to jump in their demo car at CES but some other people beat me to it and I didn't have time to wait. Haven't heard anything bad about them yet though...

Wow, some impressive cars to say the least! And congrats on the 2nd place, Mac!
And just fyi, that's not an S10. That's a F150 under the honkin' monster truck.George Grand wrote: »
