I'm very new to Polk and Home theater. Here is my set up for the Polk's.

3- TC 265I's (Front left, right and center)
2- TC 610I's (Left and right)
2- RTIA1B (rears)

Will this have good sound for Blue Ray concerts as well as movies?

^ Definitely something worth bumping your thread for.

There's not enough information to answer your question.

What are you using to drive the speakers? What's your source? etc....
I don't read the newsssspaperssss because dey aaaallllllllll...... have ugly print.

It's amazing how the Club Polk forum community becomes more and more unfriendly (for the lack of stronger words) to the newcomers. I haven't read many threads, but answers like this are simply pathetic. It's great that the community stands for its members (as evident by support in the flea market threads, etc.), but it becomes amazingly hostile to the new members.

You, people, who know each other, etc. may bicker with each other, but why are you are so much against new members? Thread comments that carry no value, zero information and are pretty much offensive will definitely turn potential Polk owners / future club members away from Polk products.

As to stay on topic, OP, we will need more information from you. Info regarding your source, amplifier, sub, other components, room size, etc. will definitely help.

Crossed over properly with an added sub, you should not be disappointed.

Finally someone is starting to see the big picture. This is not our playground to attack and ridicule anyone (not even one person). This forum is (should be) an extension of what Matt, KAB, and the rest of the team work for on a daily basis to promote what they feel are the best products they can produce in their price range and do everything possible to provide the best customer service to compliment those products.

They are doing everything right. This forum is doing everything wrong.

That's a bit harsh by saying "everything".

    I wouldn't say that.

Go to ANY forum - you will not find that everyone is "of the body".

Maybe a precondition of the forum is that you must be 'absorbed' first? :)

Speakers should sound good. If you setup, calibrate and power them correctly, they should sound very good.

Post more info on your setup (receiver type, size of room, listening habits, etc.) and you'll get more detailed answers.

Oh, and let's not everyone get up in arms about Zingo's comments. Bit of a smart **** comment, yes, but have a sense of humor and it's not that big of a deal. Guy asked if his system sounded good. . . that's a pretty subjective thing and he (mxmxmx) should be the one to know if it sounds good or not.

So, what you are saying here is that we should set the example in terms of how we conduct ourselves....

Well, lets see here Carl....here are a few random nuggets that range from sexist to racist to just in poor taste....
    1. I'm having a party and you're invited
    2. A little high. A little low.
    3. Help Wanted: Hot and spicy Indian food cook. Hot and spicy Thai cooks will also be considered
    4. I thought I smelled something in here: RAID
    5. Are you getting better looking or am I getting older!

So, you aren't exactly travelling the high road here, hoss.

Oh, and shelve the 'it was just a joke' bit, too. You tried to get me banned for threating to kill you or some such which was an OBVIOUS joke...

I mean, there is nothing wrong with the speakers......not to be flippant but there is a lot more to the equation. Do you run a sub with them, for example.

...and welcome to Club Polk. Never boring around here.

Have you heard many other setups? How does it sound compared to those? Are you happy with the sound?

With the right amp (AVR), source, room and sub they could sound great - so do they?
