I have to say that this UFC has to be one of the best I have ever watched. All of the fights were very entertaining, and watching Lesnar dominate was a real treat. I'm not sure if I like him or not, but he made HUGE strides since losing to Mir. Herring looked like he has a bat taken to his face.
The Florian/Huerta fight was also excellent. I don't know how Lesnar will fight next, but I would personally like to see him go up against Kongo.
Oh yeah and the main event was okay. I am a St. Pierre hater, but man is Fitch one strong guy. At least three time he should have been knocked out, only to come back and make Georges fight harder.

Eh, the Lesnar fight was alright in the Lesnar used his brain this time. But he spent most of the time with a "lay and pray" strategy. The dude has to cut weight to point of dangerous dehydration just to make the heavy weight category. They said he was fighting last night at something like 295. When you are almost 300 pounds and going up against a guy who is barely 2/3rds of that, all you gotta do is take down and lay down and just tire him out. Lesnar is an All-American wrestler. It was an ugly win for Lesnar and I got the feeling that Dana White fed Herring to Lesnar so Lesnar could get the W. He's now 2-1 for MMA fights. He has a tremendous amount of talent and promise, he just has to work with a jujitsu guy and get his submission game down. Once he does that, he's gonna run all over the UFC and anywhere else he fights.
The Huerta fight was excellent and I think Huerta had Florian outclassed completely. He just doesn't have as much experience as Florian and he made a couple of mistakes late in the 3rd round that Florian capitalized on. Otherwise, Huerta won that fight. I was disappointed to see the 1 point loss for Huerta.
St.Pierre pulling out that win was impressive. He doesn't usually go more than 2 rounds. To run all the rounds like that against a guy like Fitch with massive strength and mental problems (dude is a psycho!), well, there is a reason he is the champ. Even if he is narcissistic and arrogant, the dude can fight.
On a side note, I heard Kurt Angle is working on going to MMA and he's been training but he's not ready yet. I heard Dana White offered him 7 figures and I think they want to do it so we can see a Brock Lesnar/Kurt Angle fight. That would be interesting.
I would however, like to see a Brock Lesner/Kimbo Slice fight. Lesner lacks all the experience he needs but he is still a brutal force in the octagon. Slice is over-rated IMO and I'd like to see them go at it. A Lesner/Kongo fight right now would be a mauling on Lesner. Kongo is a giant and uses his leverage to his advantage. He's lighter than Lesner by over 40 pounds but he probably has the same level of strength and TONS more experience.Yeah, maybe in a year when Lesner gets some training under his belt that'll be a good match. Not right now though.Expert Moron Extraordinaire

Huerta fought a fantasic fight and did outclass Florian for what should have been a win...... actually a Kongo/Lesner match is whats needed to get Lesners head back to reality too much hype behind that boy...I too think Kimbo is WAY overrated

The Jason MacDonald Vs. Demian Maia fight was the best. I thought that fight was over in the first minute for sure. Can't believe Macdonlad got out of that triangle choke.
I thought the judges made the right call in the Florian fight. I had him winning all 3 rounds. My Home Theater (WIP):

I haven't watched one of these in years. I used t6o watch it all the time back in the day when Gracie was still fighting, the last time I watched one several years ago it looks like WWF, except without the chairs

Everything you said.
It was a good card, but it was too bad the three featured matches were all one-sided (not sure how anyone would think Huerta won). Lesnar hit some heavy shots, but the dude needs to learn how to do more with his position. I don't understand why Herring didn't go for a kneebar or use a kimura attempt to try to get back to his feet. -

Because the decision was by three points. Every round was scored within one point. Florian won the fight by unanimous decision but it was by no means a huge margin. It was quite close and everyone I was watching with agreed that Huerta could have been scored the winner also.Expert Moron Extraordinaire
