I have the following items for sale:

Harman Kardon AVR-130 (Condition 9/10) $130
Harman Kardon AVR-140 (Condition 10/10) $175
Polk CS2 (Condition 8 or 9/10) $140

Shipping is extra. I prefer to deal with paypal. Please let me know if interested

I also have a pair of Monitor 70s that I will likely sell to upgrade to RTi. If you are in the San Antonio, TX area and are interested, let me know and we can work out a deal. These are large speakers so I'd prefer not to ship them...

Thanks for looking!

my guess is yes. i did a quick check on the specs of that receiver and the main thing that stood out was its weight of 17.6 lb. The AVR-140 weights 24.5 lb. I imagine the bulk of that weight is in the amplifier. Hopefully some others can chime in if they know. Also HK receivers tend to be a little on the warm-sounding side which pairs well with Polk speakers which are on the bright side.

I have the AVR-140 on ebay but it currently has no bids. If you're seriously interested please let me know and i'll take the auction down so you can have it.

EDIT: I looked at the Yamaha specs some more and its 5.1 (compared to 6.1 of the AVR-140) and the Yamaha's power ratings are at a higher distortion with only 2 channels being driven (HK has 0.07% distortion with all 6 channels driven).

That is what I am looking for a warmer sound the yamaha seams to be a bit bright at higher volumes as the mids drop out.

    Responded to PM.

Also, I'm making a price drop on the CS2. I boxed it up for shipping today and took a closer look and realized its not a 9/10 condition. I'd say more like 7/10 since it has some scratches from sitting on top of the speaker stand i was using. Price has been adjusted to $90+shipping.

How much are the Monitor 30's going for?
I found a CS2 locally but wouldn't mind adding a pair of Monitor 30's to the setup if the price is right. I don't think I have enough posts to respond to PM's yet. Shipping would be to 16803, central PA.

    thanks
