so im starting to have problems with my SR6500s.
The left tweeter is starting to go scratchy. if i put it louder it tends to clear up but at relativly low volumes it sounds pretty bad.
is there a way i can get a replacement tweeter?? If not i was thinking about getting a seperate set of tweeters, how would this work with the polk woofers???
any help would be appreciated!
thanks

You can call Polk and get one tweeter sent to you. I believe its about 60 bucks.

ive heard that you should get tweeters that are as close together as possible. in other words a tweeter build today will be slightly different than 4 weeks from now.
should i get a set of tweeters rather than just one replacement? -
sounds like a load of bs to me. id just buy one.

Scratchy? You sure its the tweeter going screwy and not something else making a noise that you cant hear over the louder volume? I had a judge get out of my car and tell me my right tweeter was crackling. I got in and listened and it was my door panel vibrating up high near and it sounded like it was coming from the tweeter.polkaudio sound quality competitor since 2005
