I've got some old stereo gear looking for a new home to live on for someone who appreciates old but good values.

First dibs for fellow Polk forum members.

Original boxes long since gone.

As is, for local San Diego pickup - only $120

Yamaha CT-600 Tuner

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that a long time ago I read good things about that model Koss loudspeaker. Do they weigh a ton? How big are those woofers?

    Yes - practically a ton :D

I measured the woofers at 9".

They got favorable reviews in their time.

I used them many times for dorm parties in the 80's - they fill a room with big clean sound.

The "knobs" are 3 position toggle switches for +/-3db boosts to treble and mid-range.

When the mid-trebles were replaced, the crossovers were changed and the toggle switches do not function in all positions.

The "mid" position or 0db position works and is the "neutral" setting.

Buy the Equalizer and you get all the control you need for shaping the freq response ;)

Hello, I see that this is an old thread, but I wonder if the speakers are gone? Thank you.

My bad - I should have updated this, but yes, the Koss Speakers were sold to a local buyer.

The BSR EQ is sold as is the NAD CD player.
