Alaska Resource Rebate

Well last night the state legislature passed a resource energy rebate that will give each resident, among other things, $1200. This amount will be added onto the Permanent Fund Dividend Check, which is predicted to be about $2000! So, big government or not, Alaskans will be $3200 richer come October. At least that partly makes up for the fact that we're still paying about 50 to 75 cents more per gallon for gas than the rest of the country, but I'm sure the national media will pick up on it and spin it just like they do every year around dividend time. Anyway, it'll help me out. No A/V equipment will be bought however. OK, well maybe a new monblock amp!:D
