-- Small BookShelf Speaker Advice --
Another speaker suggestion needed. My LSi7 just gone and I am thinking to try some speakers better than LSi7 if it is possible for less than $1K. I saw some members like Mantis, Ricardo went with Dynaudio and some like Von Schweikert, etc... Please advice for small bookshelves speakers.

Dynaudio, Totem, Epos, ERA, Opera, Usher ............ just the tip of the iceberg for smaller monitors of great sound quality. Enjoy the search.
For real small monitors, the EPOS ELS-3 are hard to beat and come scary close to the LSi7's.DKG999

+1. I had a chance to hear dkg999's on a couple occasions including in my very own system. Highly recommended. LSi 7's might dig a tad deeper but in a small room probably not noticeable.
LSi 7's and EPOS ELS-3's are my top 2 choices
Doug, you ready to part with yours yet? Don't you feel bad I never received my LSi 7's. Perhaps a sympathy sale?

MKZ--I would put the ACI Sapphire on your short list....

Stone Image Audio Rothschilde A2...if you can find them. Comparable to Totem Model 1 or Dynaudio. Nice review in affordable audio a while back comparing the A2s to ACI Sapphire XL.
I upgraded to these speakers from my LSi7s....drastically better. I have had these now for over a year and am still amazed at how good they sound. -
I would go with a full-range like a Fostex or something similar.

Wheww..
Thank you guys for overwhelming advices. -
If you like a warm speaker like the LSi7, add Tannoy to your list."He who fights with monsters should look to it that he himself does not become a monster. And when you gaze long into an abyss the abyss also gazes into you." Friedrich Nietzsche
